update

Hi All,
Well I got my equipment on Thursday. I got the auto cpap w/ humidifier and went with the swift mask. The first night I slept with the mask on for two hours. Friday and Saturday I kept it on all night. I can't believe the improvement in how I feel! It's like a fog was lifted. Thank you for your help.

I have had dizziness in the past but not sure if it was the mask/cpap or not. There was a thread not too long ago about chest pains, they seemed to think it was due to breathing more deeply while on cpap and the fact that the lungs
were not used to that. Nasal masks are more comfortable I find, but it may take a few days for your nose to get used to the pillows, put a water based gel on them before use if you try this type. I find having an alternate type of mask helpful, even if they are both pillow types, but you need to get going before you decide what your second should be.
