Sleeping In
Sleeping In
Is anyone else having trouble "sleeping in"? I can only sleep 6-8 hours and then no more. Is this pretty typical since I am now getting a better quality of sleep?

6-8 hours of sleep
Suserbec, I'm no expert or doctor, or anything in the medical field at all. But I'd bet you're absolutely right about the better quality of your sleep on cpap being the factor that makes it impossible for you to sleep longer than the 6-8 hours you're getting now.
Many people that I've read about on cpap find that even just 5 or 6 hours refreshes them - unlike the awful way they felt after much more "sleep time" pre-cpap. Quality, not quantity (to a certain point, of course) takes on new meaning for people when cpap therapy works well for them. Often we have to be our own advocates, though....pushing, pushing for the right kind of help to work it all out.
