In the seemingly neverending search to treat my daytime sleepiness, my doctor tossed out the idea of a bi-level auto machine. I had been given a bi-level machine but had to really fight the pressure so I requested a regular auto. Has anyone had any experience with a auto bi-level (or bi-level auto)?
Thanks!
Jeanne

Yep. The Respironics BiPAP-auto is the best thing to come along since APAP's came out. It also includes a feature called Bi-Flex which adds momentary pressure relief to BiPAP the same way that C-flex does to CPAP.
I've had my BiPAP-auto since last December. A few other folks here are using it as well, and I haven't heard of anyone wishing they had a different machine.
Regards,
Bill
