With the Remstar Pro M Cpap or the Remstar ProM Auto, can we change the settings without the Card reader and software?
Most places on line does not sell the reader? I am hoping to get the ok to buy the Auto which includes the reader, if insurance does not ok it. I will need to go to DME for a regular CPAP. I am still considering getting a reader and software.
When people by the CPAP on line, how do they adjust there settings all the time, like the Dr starting lower then the titration study then going higher next couple of months.
Is it better to buy a machine without a reader, or does the whole machine need to go to DME or online store to change pressure etc.
Changing settings on Remstart ProM or Auto with smart cards?

yes you can change settings via the LCD display, very easy to do. In fact I suggest it over the SmartCard download.
Just hold down the left/right arrow keys while plugging the power cord into the machine, hold the buttons down for 3 beeps then release, you are in the setup mode. Hitting the On/Off button exits.

Getting in to set your numbers is one thing, knowing what you need is another.
We have some VERY smart people here who are making life better for you and I by learning a LOT about these machines.
Moogy, Rested Gal, DSM, Bill and a couple others understand the machines. They may, or may not be comfortable ...uh...giving YOU numbers. BUT they have some really sound ideas. Ask one of them for suggestions.
I got a providers manual, but after looking all the way through it, I realized I had better get adult supervision. I am pretty sure you know better than to just start changing numbers, but if you read enough posts, you will find some people write their numbers down in here, then explain what they want to do and usually get some good advice.
My sleep situation is much better thanks to the folks on here. Best wishes, good sleep is worth fighting for.....

Installing Software is like pushing a rope uphill.
I have Encore Pro 1.8.65 but could not find it listed
under software.
I LOVE the SV.
