Advice on moustache

Post by justplainbill » Wed Sep 13, 2006 8:25 pm

Thank you all for your replies. I really enjoyed Mike's and Roberto's suggestions, as well as the idea of hair spray. Maybe it would help if I had my barber apply a perm to my moustache.

Of course, it would be nicer if the exhaust on the Swift could be re-directed so that it would cause the system to float above the moustache. But I read elsewhere that ResMed has already come up with a revissed exhaust system for the Swift and, unfortunately, this aint it.

For the record, I do shower in the am and shampoo my beard thoroughly at that time with what I thought (perhaps mistakenly) was a conditioning shampoo. That wasn't working. I then pulled out one of my little moustache combs. Didn't do much either.

Today I tried first shampooing and then using a bona fide conditioner and then using my comb. That seemed to go ok.

I find my concern to be a bit surprising since I tend to see myself as being rather casual about my appearance until this issue came up.

You don't suppose I could be turning into a metrosexual, do you?

Thanks again,
Bill

Been using CPAP with nose pillows for a few years and developed the curly gnarly mustache syndrome. Industrial strength moisturizer doesn't work. Easy fix: stopped using CPAP, everything's beautiful again.
The doc says use the CPAP, research proves it extends life. So now I'm figuring it's pressure and or heat. Next stop, Halo II Headband. Wear it over the mustache and turn the heat down on the humidifier.
