I have been on cpap for about 4 months now. I can honestly say that it has only been in the last 1 to 2 weeks that I have felt like I am getting used to my mask. I don't tell you this to discourage you, but rather to let you know that it takes longer for some of us. But it will finally turn around. I did take Ambien and it helped. The big thing is to desensitize yourself to the feel of the mask and the only way to do that is to continue to use it. Good Luck
