EncorePro question --- erases data.

Post by byront » Sat Sep 09, 2006 9:45 pm

I have just been getting into EncorePro during the past week and have not been able to figure out how to keep it from automatically erasing my daily data if I want to preview it on a daily basis. I would like to be able to look at it daily but also want accumulated reports so I can look at weekly reports, long term averages, etc... . I can find no options pertaining to setting the default so it no longer automatically erases my data every time it is viewed. I also do not get a popup window giving me a choice. Have they eliminated this in the latest version or am I missing something? I've tried pulling the card as soon as the report comes up, thinking that the program may have not yet erased it, but that is not the case. Apparently as soon as the data is retrieved it is cleared from the card. Any help is appreciated. --- BT

Go into Window Explorer (File Manager), goto "C" drive, scroll down to program files, open it, scroll down to Respironics, open that, scroll down to Encore Pro, open that, scroll down to utilities, open that.

In utilites, are two files, one do not erase and the other erase. Run the one you want. The file writes to the reg and sets the program the way you want. Jim

Wow, I love this board! That's gotta be some kind of record - I just posted about two minutes ago. Thanks Goofproof, I'll give it a go. --- BT
