I have used all of the methods suggested, but I find this one is the easiest. Get a pour spout, the kind a bartender uses (I found two for under $4 at Rite Aid Drugs in CA) and attach to a, I use a wine bottle. Works great, no mess, no dripping, no need for a funnel, and a very easy fill.

Just don't get it mixed up with a vodka bottle when you are filling your HH!

Daily cleaning?

I do mine, but only every few days. When using distilled water, the ResMed company representative e-mailed me and recommended every 2-3 days. If using tap water, which I do when travelling, I clean the humidifier chamber daily. This is also at the recommendation of the ResMed rep.

There is an extensive discussion on this thread of cleaning regimes:

There are lot more; just search for cleaning and stand back!
