Nah! I’m no artist … they won’t even let me play one on TV … but I do sleep with my APAP each night.

Actually, I consider myself to be technical science and engineering oriented … other side of the brain. I just dilly dally with music and the arts so my brain doesn’t get too lopsided … if you take a look at my avatar pic, you’ll see that nevertheless my head it is still a little lopsided.

Listen to Birdshell ... his wise words are indeed a good guide to follow. Keep in mind that OSA is much like diabetes in that it requires a significant initiative by the patient to educate themselves, monitor, and take contol of their own treatment.

Thank you so much for the kind words. (Just wanted to point out the red word (my coloring): I check the F box on forms, not M.) I like the diabetes analogy; very apt.

Now, in regard to the green section (again, my coloring):

Actually, much as engineers seem to think they are left-brain dominant creatures, math and science seem to require quite a bit of creative thinking. As a teacher of 30+ years, I've attended several professional development workshops on that topic.

I also live in a community just crawling with automotive industry engineers, and they DO seem to see the world a bit differently. When I'm depending on their work, I'm REALLY glad of that. We surely do need all kinds of thinkers in the world.

So, Roberto, that sign-off banner is really outstanding and totally in character for an engineer. Even if it wasn't all original, you chose and altered it to suit your sensibilities. That counts!

An acquaintance who is a physics professor tells me that almost all of those with increased intellectual interests (i.e., probably high IQ--if that really means anything) are music lovers. Most play at least one instrument or sing.

I do not know if it works the other way, but the pitched instruments (strings except piano, trombone, French horn, and the like) increase brain development if learned before age 12. There may be a correlation there!

My apologies for the gender fau paux … and my gratitude for your kind words.

Unfortunately, at seventeen, I was a bit late at picking up the guitar and my experimentation with recreational drugs around the same ignorant phase of my life surely stunted my brain development rather than increase my IQ. In addition, my long-term undiagnosed OSA and consequential O2 starvation probably did not help out the aging peanut either.

Nevertheless, I’m quite flattered by your kind words.

President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

More on the mutual admiration society we have formed:

Thanks again, and you are very welcome. No problem on the gender, I've done the same. I just don't want any surprises down the line (as in those TV stories one sees where someone lies via letter or e-mail, then has to reveal the truth).

I do not think that the lack of pitched instruments had too much detrimental effect. But, isn't it amazing that we survive the O2 starved environment while preserving our intellect? Either that, or we are all deluded by that starvation in the same ways!
