Respironics just recently added the C-flex feature to the REMstar auto. They have not yet updated their website to reflect the new model.

Remstar Auto w/Cflex

The Resmtar Auto w/Cflex is available and I have some now on my shelf. The item number through Respironics is 1017453. I have little faith that there will be too much of an improvement considering most people on an auto CPAP machine are on a pressure range which will only adjust as high as it needs to treatinging the apnea. So the back pressure is less anyway. I think if you change to set pressure and is higher than 9cm, may be beneficial.

Guest,

My titrated pressure is 7cm. I recently switched from my Puritan Bennett 420E auto to the REMstar auto with C-flex. I find the C-flex to be a wonderful luxury as the pressure on exhalation seems to all but disappear.

The Pressure on my cpap is set at 10 with a ramp up.
