I am trying to find which office might be best to email/phone/write to re the PB Knightstar Bilevel. Not being in the US I want to avoid repeatedly contacting the wrong part of the PB org.
I want to approach PB to get info on the comms capabilities of the PB330 Knightstar Bilevel.
The questions I want to ask include
- What is the serial port for (the clinicians manual doesn't mention it)
- Does the PB330 stream AHI & L/min data etc: out while running ?
- If yes, is it possible to get the handshaking codes & the data formats
- Is there a manual describing the comms capabilities and data types (e.g. such as there is for the N-200 PO machine).
Anyone able to suggest the best contact points for me to start ?
Thanks
DSM

xPAP and Quattro std mask (plus a pad-a-cheek anti-leak strap)
Call 800-497-4968 and ask for technical support of sleep products.
I think I know the answers to your questions and you will not like them.
The Port is for testing the unit before selling it.
The 330 dies not deal with AHI or leak data and no memory.
I am not positive of my answers, but I am reasonable confident.

PB330 comms
I think you are probably right - I will call them though.
I tried monitoring the port while turning the machine on (usually the best approach with an unknown device. It does send data out the serial port on power up but I was not able to determine what. It may ahve been a single char code ("9") Which may be a signal to say the machine is on.
It does have keypad programmable audible alarms for leak etc:
I have a com port sniffer now & will see if it can do any better than my
guessing. But the fact that the clinician's manual say nothing tends to indicate thats all I can expect
Thanks for the phone #
Cheers
