Atten: NeurosurgeryNP & other kind souls!
A BIG thank you for your response to questions. I know it can be frustrating to have someone "new" ask a repeat question, but it is hard to search & search posts sometimes to find the needed information. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I do appreciate it & all of you who take the time to respond even though it may seem redundant to do so.

Jen, you said it right!
That's what I did too. For months, I dug into the archives of apnea message boards and other sites on the internet as if I were a med school student bent on learning as much as I could - before the final exam of my life.I just have been looking at sites full force for info. Jen
Unfortunately like most ailments, the best way to treatment is to be your own advocate and research as much as possible. I recently went through a nasty time with my asthma (attacks weekly) and the docs couldn't figure it out here. Heard about a Hosp in Denver that specializes in Asthma and worked it out to go there. since I was CORRECTLY diagnosed, and prescribed the CORRECT medications, I have had 1 asthma attack in 5 months!!!
For my SA I have found pretty much the same thing, you have to keep digging and reading. (Heck that is how the doctors find out!) And quite often I have had to present my case to my GP. If you go in with all the data, AND you have a good doc, you will usually get a better result. YMMV
