A BIG thank you for your response to questions. I know it can be frustrating to have someone "new" ask a repeat question, but it is hard to search & search posts sometimes to find the needed information. Thank you for taking the time to answer my question. I do appreciate it & all of you who take the time to respond even though it may seem redundant to do so.

Jen, you said it right!

That's what I did too. For months, I dug into the archives of apnea message boards and other sites on the internet as if I were a med school student bent on learning as much as I could - before the final exam of my life.

Unfortunately like most ailments, the best way to treatment is to be your own advocate and research as much as possible. I recently went through a nasty time with my asthma (attacks weekly) and the docs couldn't figure it out here. Heard about a Hosp in Denver that specializes in Asthma and worked it out to go there. since I was CORRECTLY diagnosed, and prescribed the CORRECT medications, I have had 1 asthma attack in 5 months!!!

For my SA I have found pretty much the same thing, you have to keep digging and reading. (Heck that is how the doctors find out!) And quite often I have had to present my case to my GP. If you go in with all the data, AND you have a good doc, you will usually get a better result. YMMV
