New Hybrid headgear

Post by ladytonya » Fri Aug 25, 2006 11:55 pm

Anyone out there who has received the new Hybrid headgear care to post a picture? It would be interesting to see the difference between what was shipped with the original mask and what the "new and improved" headgear looks like. Mine is on its way. I was surprised because she didn't ask me really any identifying information other than my name and address to ship to. I thought I'd get the third degree about where I purchased it, how long I've had it, etc. Anyway, pictures would be greatly appreciatd! Inquiring minds want to know.....

I ordered my new headgear tuesday late afternoon. I received it Friday. WOW, what a difference. I was happy with this mask and headgear to begin with, then the top strap stopped sticking. This headgear is much thicker, a little wider, and much more comfortable! For me this is the perfect mask!

I received my headgear too yesterday. The headgear is vastly improved and I'm more impressed with the Hybrid manufacturer's responsiveness. Hope they sell millions of dollars worth of Hybrid masks, they deserve to make money more than anybody else.

When I was set up, my Apria RT commented that the headgear was the only thing she didn't particularly care for, other than that she really liked the mask. I'm going to show her the new headgear next week. I'm sure she will be very happy and Apria will recognize how much the manufacturer cares about the CPAP user.

Okay, so it looks just like the old one just a different material? Are the straps the same width? I thought I read that the straps were slightly wider? I know I'm obsessing, but I really can't wait to get this thing! Unfortunately, I had it shipped to my office address so I probably won't get it until Monday. If I would have had it shipped home, it would have probably come in today's mail if it's taking on average 2 days. Oh, well. I'll just have to wait until Monday!

Straps are a little wider, 3 times as thick, and velcro is heavy duty. Last night the mask didn't move at all! The headgear is nice and soft, you can really tell the difference.

Do I order directly form the manufacturer? Does cpap.com have them for purchase? What's the cost?

I called innomed and told them my top strap was no longer sticking. They sent it out right away(called tues nite-got fri). They asked alot of questions about how I liked the mask and even how I was doing on cpap. Call 800-200-9842.
I have no idea if they are available for purchase yet or not, but it didn't cost me anything.
