problems downloading silver lining softwear anyone?

Post by Ms Piggy » Thu Aug 24, 2006 5:03 pm

Has anyone had any problems dowloading their figures from their 420E ? I have not read anything to that affect in the postings. I was also told that there wasn 't much point getting the info!
Seems to me you all think it is worth knowing how you are doing, and now I am curious to know too!

Only problem I had was forgetting a few times to plug the 420E's main power cord into the wall after I carried the little machine to the computer.

I seem to remember having to choose com port 5 (or 6? anyway, a high number com port) when I installed the Silverlining software.

problems downloading silverlining software

Post by hoyle » Fri Aug 25, 2006 10:31 am

I recently purchased the PBGoodKnight 420E and the Silverling Software. This morning, I installed the Software on my computer without problems. Then, I downloaded 6 days of Data from the 420E onto my computer without problems.
Easily done once I read the directions three times.

Silverlining installation

The only problem I had was picking the Com Port. I tried a few of the lower ones, and it did not work. Finally, I realized I had to use Com Port 5. Then, it worked fine.
