Pain in the neck

Post by xxspudsmomxx » Tue Aug 22, 2006 9:41 pm

I have to adjust my headgear tight so I don't have air leaks... lately I have been having pain in my neck where the bottom of the strap hits my head/upperneck area. I have been looking for a different kind of strap. I currently have a respironics ultra mirage full face set up. I have had my machine for a year now and have just developed neck trouble. My strap may have stretched needing the tighter adjustment. . . and may simply need to be replaced. Any similar problems out there?

I don't think respironics makes ultra mirage, Resmed, does I believe, If you don't have to pay out of pocket, you usually are allowed two new masks per year with new strapping. You can also pad the straps to spread out the pressure. Jim
