HUGE data holes in MyEncore...

Post by JCraig » Sat Aug 19, 2006 8:26 pm

In my MyEncore the following reports/sections are totally blank: Daily Pressures, Daily Leak, Av. Apnea Duration, Secs in Apnea, Var. Breathing. There is no missing data in Encore Pro. I'm using the latest version (1.6i) of Encore. What is going on...?

(I have 1 week + 1 day of data!)

Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing MyEncore? I seem to remember a couple of instances of people posting this problem before. You might try it. MyEncore just uses the Encore Pro database in calculating the data.

Best wishes,

I am having the same problem, and based on the preceding posts am concluding that this is a result of some sort of incompatibility between the new 1.6 version of Encore Pro, and My Encore.

I have the same problem too. I have tried uninstall and re-install all the things (EncorePro, MyEncore, MSSQL and Card Reader driver). But the problem still exist.

Ok, so it's not bad data, just a bug.

I would think it's more likely it is something you are doing wrong, as it works correctly for most people. In Encore Pro, Do you have access for full details, for every night on every download, without gaps in the data? If you do, that means the server data is there, if not, that's the problem! Compliance Data doesn't cut it. You can't access, data if it's not there.

If it is all there, the problem is probably the settings in preferences in My Encore are incorrect, date ranges Ect. I can't run any tests on my end because, I didn't waste any extra money on small footprints or lightweight machines, and didn't have to upgrade my software. If the Sleep Fairy, happens to drop me off a copy of Encore Pro 1.6i, I would sacfrice one of my computers, to do a trial run, but so far, he has only spread a little Sleep Dust, over in the corner of my Cave. Hi Jim,

I too have the same problems as reported by others who are using MyEncore Ver. 1.5B7 and EncorePro 1.6i. I have looked carefully at the SQL database. The data are there. The range settings aren't the problem either. I emailed Derek who wrote MyEncore about this over a month ago but no reply.

Today I looked at the last week of data in both MyEncore and EncorePro. MyEncore dropped two days of data that are in the SQL database. So, yea, there are some bugs.

Full data is there in Encore. Everything. Time in Apnea, you name it. It's just that in MyEncore, the stated charts are blank.

In that case the only thing I can offer is, I made up a Excel file to write the data in, it keeps track of day to dat data and totals month avg, It give you the overview without the graphs, if you send me your e-mail I will send it to you. It can be modifyed. Jim

Yup, me too. I should really just look at the database anyway though...not like I'm not a database expert.

Encore Pro installation

Post by fstanmyre » Mon Aug 21, 2006 11:36 am

Folks, I'm running three computers, an older PC, a laptop, and my main high tech PC. The first two run Encore Pro and My Encore just fine. My main computer simply won't run them. The closest I got after running Windows repair, reinstalls, and various other tweeks was downloading the data to the database and reading it on My Encore. Encore Pro however wouldn't open. Encore Pro and the msft desktop server are buggy software and together they can be a challenge.

Finally, I did a clean install of XP Pro on my main computer including the msft updates, I then installed the whole Encore package before anything else could screw up the installation and it all works fine. I backup the whole partition on a regular basis each time I make some major changes to the programs or hardware. Sofar, so good. I'm guessing, but it seems some programs, drivers, or routine registry maintenance etc. can create problems with the Encore package. Unless you are a real computer software genius. I suggest the total reinstall. Gives you something to do on a rainy afternoon and it will work.

Derek posted a few months back that he is "recuperating after surgery."
