No problems with CPAP airline carry-on today (Wed Aug 16th) within the US.
I came back from vacation in Nashville today. I walked right through security and told them I had a CPAP. They wanded it the same as the way down (down was one day before all the arrests and new security rules).
No problems with any other luggage either. Had to check one bag with stick deoderant, hair stuff, makeup etc, but no problem with that or with our other carry-on stuff which included two laptops, mp3 players, a computer router etc.
Actually it is almost scary that screening didn't take longer and no suitcases needed to be unloaded in front of security.
I did see one person lose a water bottle in a backpack (so they caught that one in the new no liquid rules).
Makes me hopeful that CPAP won't cause a problem with air travel as things get tighter and tighter.
No airline issues today with CPAP
