nasal pillows

Post by snoozie_suzy » Thu Aug 10, 2006 3:36 pm

Ladytonya,

Keep in mind however, (so you don't set yourself up for disappointment) that even having a "rounder" or cheekier type face, does not rule out you may or may not have issues with the nasal pillows popping out occasionally. I still have the occasional night where they tilt outwards and pop out even at the tallest settings.

I don't move around a lot in my sleep, so if I did, I MIGHT not be one to advocate this mask so much. I have read of others having alot of trouble with the pillows popping out.

I don't want to put the voice of uncertainty in your head, but this mask is pricier than some others, so just thought I'd mention it. I do believe ALL masks carrry the risk of not fitting correctly. I have only tried 6 different kinds since last fallso I'm definately far from being an expert, but it seems that this type mask is not the "slap on your face, and turn out the light" kind of mask.

I've seen quite a few posts with people disappointed with this mask, so just wanted you to go into this with all the facts! I happen to really like this mask, and I'm feeling a lot better than with the other masks I tried.

Good luck, I hope it works out really well, keep us posted.

Suzy

I tied a string of dental floss from one top post to the other, just tight enough to hold the pillows tilted in toward my face. I have never had them pop out since!
