1st sleep study results

It dosent look all that normal to me, with sleep eficiancy poor at 66.8 and the arousals and awakenings...

With your latency to percistant sleep being so long and your latency to REM sleep being very long, plus the # of arousals makes me gues you had some events but didnt qualify...yet the Dr had a strong feeling you would if you slept better or more normal...so they brought you back again. Did they give you something to sleep the second time? 4hours is a while to wait to split...you may have been borderline until you got some REM sleep.

The report says o apnic or hypopnic events causing arousals...didnt mention desats causing arousal, non-qualifing events,RERAs or UAR...wich my have justafied a second attemt to qualify you for CPAP.

I also agree the spont. arousals may have been suspected to have an obstructice compinent.

But I guess we'll see when you get your second report.
