Heated hose/Air Temperature

Post by Malibu » Fri Aug 04, 2006 6:35 am

Hello,

I have read several posts here about the Aussie Heated hose being used to help eliminate rain-out but but was wondering if anyone every used it to just heat the air up a few degrees and leave the humidity setting alone.

I find my sinus areas feel better with warmer air blowing on them. We keep the house at 72 degrees. I ran my humidifier on 5 the last couple of nights and the air temperature is such that I feel no sinus pain but of course there is more water in the mask than I would like.

I would like to keep it at a setting of 3 or 4 and make the air warmer.

I have seen some say they vary the voltage from the 12v spec down to control temperature.

Any thoughts on this?

Thanks,

Marc
