Respironics DreamWear Gel Nasal pillow mask review thread
Re: Respironics DreamWear Gel Nasal pillow mask review thread
I use the ResMed Mirage Swift ll Nasal Pillow mask it has a diffused vent. The air escaping from the diffused vent is not an issue.

Ah, interesting. Hmm, so as a side sleeper, I'm curious... can the hose be positioned on either side?

The Resmed Mirage Swift II hose can be inserted to the right or left easily.

Redundancy, you don't want to end up with your only vent blocked.TuningSnork wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 3:27 pm[*]Why are there two exhaust holes vs. just one at the top of the head?

It might help to have the hose totally out of the way.TuningSnork wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 5:34 pmAh, interesting. Hmm, so as a side sleeper, I'm curious... can the hose be positioned on either side?
A lot of us use hose hanger/manager/holder/management (forum search terms for other posts)
Examples of DIY https://www.google.com/search?tbm=isch& ... aptalk.com
Readymades https://www.amazon.com/s?k=Hose+CPAP+holder
Or rigging your hose to the top of your head

You can use the Respironics Dreamwear "headgear with arms" on the Resmed P301. I do and lots of others do too. The tabs on those plastic arms will fit in the slots on the P30i.TuningSnork wrote: ↑Sun Feb 20, 2022 3:27 pmThanks for the quick reply!
And wow! I'm just... kinda gobsmacked here. And I have... now more questions! Now I just wish I could have a combo of the Respironics headgear with the Resmed nasal pillows!
- Doesn't this drive anyone else nuts with regards to a large, focused jet of air?
- Why are there two exhaust holes vs. just one at the top of the head?
- It feels like I'm getting a lot less air in my nose (despite a good seal) vs. my P30i; is that likely the case, or just my imagination because the exhaust air isn't defused?
