My PB has been at +14% for the last two nights and I am concerned that this indicates that I have some health problems. I've had other high nights as well. My biggest concern is that this is Cheyne-Stokes and I have posted some SH data for people to have a look at as I have not the faintest idea what it looks like. I know that CSR could be an indicator of congestive heart failure but have no idea, even after some research, of what issues PB could be a precursor of.
If someone could have a look and give me an indication of what might be going on it would be appreciated. The last one in particular looks strange.

Periodic Breathing or Cheyne-Stokes?
Re: Periodic Breathing or Cheyne-Stokes?
You've zoomed in just a little too close on some of the Green PB breathing. Just a little too close.
PB is periodic breathing which by definition is nothing more than a general waxing and waning of the air flow that lasts at least 2 minutes.
CSR Cheyne Stokes Respiration is one form of PB but it isn't the only form of PB.
Your breathing pattern doesn't really look like CSR breathing. Looks like general boring PB for the most part. The last graph...maybe sort of CSRish on a couple of segments but barely CSR ish and for sure not classic CSR.
Classic CSR looks like this and usually has a central/CA flagged but sometimes the machine will flagged it as hyponea or OA by mistake. If you are seeing PB green breathing without any flags of any kind then I doubt that it is CSR.

Classic CSR

CSRish

NOT CSRish...what I call boring PB and means nothing

If it bugs you ......see a doctor.
