Best FF Mask for Higher Pressures

Post by lwieland11 » Sun Apr 30, 2017 7:34 am

I'm currently using the F&P Simplus mask. On a BIPAP, pressure of 16 currently. With the mask adjusted very tightly, I can use it with very few leaks. It's not terribly comfortable but it works. To get my AHI under 5, we'll need to increase the pressure. Is there a FF mask that can handle the higher pressures? Not sure Simplus is the one.

Simplus handles all IPAP pressures up to 30cmh2o in my experience...headgear is not the most comfortable but it works. Make sure it's fitted correctly. The AirFit F20 will withstand high pressures as well so you can try that.

I have used the simplus, Amara View, and now the F20 FFM at high pressure. My original pressure was 20 - 25 with 5 cm pressure support. Now, I am running a straight 20 cm with 3 cm pressure support. I have been able to get a good seal with all three masks. I normally use a home-made mask liner during the summer, but not in the winter.

I use the Zzz-Mask Full Face CPAP Mask by Probasics.

I like that it does not have the forehead support, and more then anything else I like the price. Compared the price to Resmed masks this mask is half price, and the replacement cushions are about half also. The mask works well for me, but every one is different. I have high pressure settings of 23/19, and so far this mask serves me well.
