Why do you only have the mask on for an hour? Does it start hurting or the pressure bothers you or what? Have you tried different kinds/types of masks? Or the nasal pillows? There are lots of different reasons why people have problems, so there are lots of different solutions to try. Let us know what in particular bothers you most about the cpap and mask, and someone might have a suggestion that would work for you.

Hi,
You may want to take a look at your pressure. Could it be that it isn't high enough ?
Let us know the specifics like type cpap, model straight or auto , pressure settings mask model, ect. Someone will give it a go and maybe it will help you sleep thru the night.

Cheers,

Chris

Alwaystired,

Sounds like you were left hanging. You tried the cpap every night for a year and still can't keep the mask on for more than an hour. Sounds like you've got some problems with your set-up. Chrisp is right, give us some more details and we can provide many suggestions of aternatives for you to try. The chin strap won't help you keep the mask on.

Please let us know!
Sincerely,
