Don't know what it does going off of DST, though. That's obviously more tricky since you'd have data with duplicate time stamps for an hour.
it's not your machine, it's sleepyhead that 'made the change'.
your machines time is in UTC set at the factory, and unsettable by you, it uses your timezone setting as a display offset....
just like unix does.
Yep, as expected. I wasn't going to say that without facts though, and hadn't had a chance to go look at my machine's time.
On setting the time, it does have a time setting under My Setup. I presume that's just for setting display offset from UTC for lcd display? It allows setting forward or back in ten minute increments.

it's labeled 'time' but it's a timezone setting, and, at least according to the manual and other reports, it's 30 minute increments.
Allows you to adjust the time. The default setting is Greenwich Mean Time, but you may adjust the time in 30 minute increments to match your local time zone.
bonus points, why 30 minute increments? (people outside of far eastern canada and a few other places usually have no clue)

Because there are timezones with 30 minute offsets from UTC...like India. I work with India folks a lot, and that always makes me laugh a little.

I have left mine on whatever was on when I retired in June, 2013.
One less clock to set.
