Every PLAN is different. One company may have hundreds of plans, usually selected by the employer.

I have BCBS Federal and don't even bother with it except for expenses other than doctor related. When my deductible evaporated at the beginning of the year, I turned in my rental and bought a very low hour upgraded version 10 AUTO for about half of what my deductible would be for the year. I also just pay out of pocket for mask. For me it is much cheaper than going through insurance. Every personal situation is different. Fortunately, I live near major population centers. There are people who work for DME that have ready access to low hour machines cheap. If not in a rush, deals can be had. I was paying only $68 a month on my rental through Blue Cross without any insurance kick in. And I was allowed to return the machine at any time without further cost. I don't see why you can't get the same deal.
Seeing and believing are often both wrong. FOW
