Remove air filter, feel better

I made my own mask liners out of an old, well-worn tee shirt. They are thicker than the remzzz liners. My wife crocheted a small bag we put them in and throw them in with the whites when doing laundry. She then irons them dry which brings them back to the right size. These will work for small and medium masks. They can be enlarged for large masks. You could also make them out of light weight flannel if you wanted to.

I used plain purell and a tissue, quick wipe, and the cushion was clean.

the alcohol cut the grease quick and easy.

Try a brand new filter. It's possible that the filters you were using were somehow defective.

I have 4 air filters, they are all washed out now.
Will try without filter for the rest of the week, and put the new filter on. I really like this fresh feeling of having no filter and the fresh feeling in the morning. I need this feeling to compare with the mornings having filter on, next week

About hygiene: I grew up in a war-torn country in Asia, so no poison could harm me .

- PS1: I don't remember when I did replace or wash my filter, it's probably something between 2 or 4 month.
- PS2: I have spent the first 8 months on CPAP caring enough for everything CPAP: pressure setting, reading religiously, washing filter and mask. Yet no health improvement was seen. So I decided to go easy and relax on things.
- PS3: I find 5 min washing the mask everyday is too much todo. With 2 difficult children, I don't even have time to wash my body everyday, and I often forget to use other medicine (for my other health problem).

And it feels just great without filter: this morning I have enough energy to finish already 9 items in my 12 todo items today, after 100 minutes.

Normally, I would need 8 hours to finish only half of the items.

Talk about cutting off your nose to spite your face - If you had cleaned your filters more often to begin with, you would probably have been fine. Not using them at all now is asking for new trouble. Use them, but just clean them routinely.

What does growing up Asian have to do with "no poison could harm me'? It sounds nonsensical!

Wrong, in the first 8 month I have washed or changed the filter every month, yet my health was not improved.

I'ts not Asia, it's a poor country being torn by war.

When soap was a luxury in the first 14 years of my life, when tap water was yellowish and people still had the habit to use water from wells, the notion of hygiene was so different from a western nation top of the list like the US.

has your machine been making a lot of noise?

if not, then your imagination about getting more air without the filter is just that, your imagination.

unless the air in your room is highly filtered, all you're doing is harming your machine by running it without a filter.

The black foam filters number one purpose is to protect the Machine. You don't want the inside of the machine getting covered in dust and dirt.
The Ultra-fine white filter that goes under the black foam filters is more for filtering the air you breath.
you could leave the ultra-fine filter out but never the Black foam filter.

Right we use lead water pipes, it touthfens us up so we can eat the lead paint on the windows. Then when we got to war, trying to make life better for the rest of the world, we are immuned to their lead bullets. Jim
