Sleep Apnea and Psychiatric Illness

This is a study on sleep apnea as it relates to psychiatric disorder. Can anyone make sense of it? Think it's true?

It's fairly straightforward that sleep apnea can cause extreme sleep deprivation which is known to cause a variety of mental health problems, primarily depression and anxiety. What about the study do you not understand?
