Has anyone else (spouse or significant other-not cpap user) had problems waking up with a dry mouth or congested because of the air blowing from the cpap machine? My spouse is diligent in cleaning and maintaining the machine & only uses distilled water so I know it isn't a mold issue.
Until recently we slept in separate beds but we have now moved to a new home & were able to purchase a larger bed to accommodate both of us and the cpap. I do not know if the issue is the new house (not new construction, just new to us) that is causing the problem for me or the machine.
Spouse sleep issues because of cpap machine?

Are you asking if it is possible for you (spouse of a cpap user but you aren't a cpap user) to have dry mouth because of your spouse's cpap machine?
If that's what you are asking...the answer is no.
The usual culprit for dry mouth is either mouth breathing or maybe medications or some sort of health condition that causes drying.
Have you been having any allergy or nasal congestion issues that could maybe be causing you to mouth breathe more?
Any medications?

If this is a new condition, look for recent changes.
It would seemed that you moved to a new house (and have a new bed), so that's a big change. Perhaps it's drier in your new bedroom. Is it far enough away from the old one to be in a different climate zone?
