Numbness in the face and neck

I am experiencing occasional numbness in my face, neck and ear on my left side. This has been going on for 2 months. I can make the numbness go away by moving my head. I'm wondering if my Cpap straps are pinching a nerve. Has anyone else experienced this? I see my doctor tomorrow.

It's possible, so try loosening straps tonight and see how things go... good to know you're seeing the doctor though.

have a REAL doctor (Heart) check flow and heart, might stop a problem before it kills you. Jim

I agree with checking in with your doctor first and foremost.

If nothing serious is found, it could be that the straps are too tight or if you sleep on your left side you are compressing one of the nerves on that side.

You might take a look at Padacheek.com for padding for your mask straps or consider a different mask which doesn't put pressure in the place that's problematic.
