Drying DreamWear frame tubes?

Post by EdNerd » Wed Feb 08, 2017 12:05 pm

My wife is dilligent about washing her Respironics DreamWear mask every day, as per the instructions.
She lays the parts in a basket lined with paper towel to air-dry.
Every evening, though, during reassembly of the mask, the frame still has moisture in it.
Is there a way to dry the inside of the frame tubes?
Or should we not worry about it?

Ed

either don't wash the tubes, or hook them up to the machine and let it blow through them for a couple minutes.

I'd say don't worry about. It's just a little water and will blow out in a few seconds anyway.

I put all my equipment in front of a fan until it's good and dry. Making sure to leave everything open as much as possible. If I don't do this certain things can go all day without drying. Not that it matters a whole lot since the humidifier and your breath makes things moist anyway. I just don't like to give anything a chance to live in my equipment so I dry it thoroughly and as fast as possible.
