I would disagree...from the looks of the leak graph I would bet money you are mouth breathing but for the most part it doesn't go into large leak territory. The leaking is quite prominent though and it wouldn't be impossible for the leakst to maybe be impacting sleep quality...causing you to wake up maybe. If you are sleeping through those leaks though...no urgent need to tape or do anything about them. Just be aware that they are probably mouth breathing leaks. It's not enough to greatly impact the AHI even if it was missing a few events.Stutz wrote:From the leaks I don't think I am breathing through my mouth but would be willing to try taping it again, but did not see the need.
The S9 won't start missing them totally until you exceed 35 L/min and even then I don't know for sure it would miss many.
Now are they maybe partially to blame for some of the wake ups....they might.
If you are having trouble getting back to sleep for some reason then that will definitely impact how you feel during the day. Read up on "sleep maintenance insomnia".Stutz wrote:Usually I do wake up once or twice a night, and at times stay awake for an hour or so which is troublesome.
Research your blood pressure medication extensively for any side effect that might be affecting how you feel during the day or sleep quality.
Look for fatigue, excessive sleepiness, insomnia, etc.
Otherwise I don't see anything other than the leaks and while the leak line is a bit ugly...for the most part you stay below large leak territory so in terms of impacting the actual therapy I think the machine is probably able to compensate well enough. Now in terms of affecting sleep quality...they might be done that.
