LET US ALL PAUSE FOR A MOMENT OF HUMOR........

Tom and Kay,

Let's settle this about the "toilet water" thing.....
I did a search on "toilet water" because I remembered something called that from when I was a kid.....

From yourdictionary.com:

toilet water
n.
A scented liquid with a high alcohol content used in bathing or applied as a skin freshener.

Now, if you put "toilet water" in your humidifier, you'll also solve the problem that many people ask on the forum about putting something nice-smelling in your humidifier tank.

If you do a search on "toilet water", there's a lot of interesting stuff to be found.....including this one which states that ice from fast food eating places is dirtier than toilet water.

Have a good day, all.

And the alcohol would definitely be transmitted through the CPAP hose---Hmmm...do you suppose it has possibilities for sleep and mood enhancement?

Back to the subject--the idea about doing something to make your educational process unique is a good one but not having been to any groups I don't know what they are doing or not doing. I know I didn't have any opportunity to see any masks or machines-and I didn't find this forum until I had my setup.

Alcohol being transmitted thru the hose.
Now that is a real thought!!!

It may just be the perfect sleeping aid- Inhale your way to a cheap drunk and wake up already on the way to the days drinking for those interested.

I wonder if alcohol is indeed released this way and would travel.
It IS volatile with a much lower vapor point(I THINK), so if you put grain alcohol in the tank????????????

This is beyond my level of expertise, so I will let someone else try and report back on this.
"But officer, I have NOT had a drink. What do you mean breathing under the influence?"

This should have an answer, It is not exactly Rocket Surgery.

Bob & Mariam,

Sounds like you've been given some good ideas and thoughts to ponder on your potential endeavor.

My thoughts are that it would be very helpful for Sleep Disorder prospects to be able to get a lot of the information BEFORE they enter the process. How that might be accomplished is, to me, the $64 question. Between dealing with the insurance, doctors, sleep clinics, DMEs, a new vocabulary, etc., it's quite an ordeal for a sleep-deprived person.
Also, due to the "doctor-patient privilege", how would you know who might be your prospective clientele?

I'm all for a concept like you have in mind.....but I wouldn't give up my "day job" just yet.

Best wishes,

Den
