Weird Mask Pressure Sleepyhead Graph

Post by bayareacpap » Tue Dec 27, 2016 9:35 pm

Quick Question: Should the mask pressure graph on Sleepyhead look like a perfectly straight line or is there supposed to be slight fluctuations in it?

On some days, earlier this month, the mark pressure line looks totally straight but in the past week it fluctuates slightly all the time and then for about 10-30 minutes a night, it drops to zero for a few seconds and then fluctuates between 0-2 during that time. My CPAP pressure is straight 9 and it shows this number during the times that the mask pressure goes to zero, which seems very strange.

I will add graphs in a bit. I am having trouble remembering how to do it. Does you still use Imgur?

It depends. In CPAP mode it should be straight with little fluctuations. In auto pressure should follow events.your best bet is to load sleepyhead graphs

Here are the mask pressure graphs that I discussed above. Again, the CPAP pressure is showing 9 the whole time that the make pressure drops as shown in the graphs.

I started to say it could fluctuate with EPR on but a a drop from 9 to 0-2 would make me think that maybe you rolled on or kinked your hose briefly.

Here are the graphs in format. I think this might be another day but similar issue on this day. By the way, I downloaded the data on to Sleepyhead from 3 separate CPAPs (2 are mine and 1 is someone else's and all of them showed this same issue so I am now wondering if it is a software or data issue).

By the way, EPR was not on during this time.

Of note is that the flow shows a Positive only square similar to the pressure at the same time. I'm not sure what this means. Not correlated to any event or snore.
