Fisher Paykel Icon Error Code 5.03

I awoke in the middle of the night and my cpap was not working. It had error code 5.03 on it and would not start back up. I had no luck online. All I could find was recommendations to return it for a replacement. After looking over the machine, I discovered that the filter was clogged. No air flow means no motor function. I can't remember the last time I cleaned it. I rinsed the filter, replaced it and left it unplugged all day. Turned it on tonight and it works. So here are my tips. 1. Keep your air filter clean. 2. Try what I did before you take your machine in for replacement.
