Re: POLL: Why are you here?
I only chose one selection that is the main reason why I remain here....#3
I will do number 4 if I have to but I would really prefer to focus on number 3. #3 keeps me more than busy enough.
Now I have no problem at all with some joking and kidding and playing around a bit...and I like to partake of it when I can. There's a time and a place for some good fun. Laughter is indeed sometimes the best medicine but when it comes to cpap...we play after the "work" is done....IMHO.

Who the fuck cares?
People have many many reasons to be here and the reasons are none of your business.

Nice thing about polls...total anonymity unless someone wants to publicly say what they chose.
Whomever creates the poll has zero way of knowing who voted and which way they voted.
What you see up top is what the creator of the poll gets to see.

Re: POLL: Why are you here?
Wow...didn't take you long to get blasted.
I guess you forgot one choice..."who the f...k cares...none of your business" but somehow I don't think it matters much that choice was omitted. You would likely hear about it anyway.
You are a big boy...you knew that you would get some tomatoes thrown at you.

Re: POLL: Why are you here?
I assume BlackSpinner was replying mostly to grayghost4's question (BlackSpinner usually goes pretty easy on me); but, yeah, I am used to getting blasted, either way, so no worries. In fact, I usually just ask for it--that way when I get it, I can tell myself it was actually my idea!
Funny thing is, I had typed "none of anyone's business" when first constructing the poll, but then omitted it later before submitting, since there are only slots for 10 choices maximum.

Re: POLL: Why are you here?
I "get" the reason for the poll--to make us think, and try to roll back on the rough stuff.
It is likely to only make a difference with the more thoughtful folks here, but it was a nice try.
Bless you for your faith in imperfect creatures like us.

Re: POLL: Why are you here?
I'm here because I need to learn to self manage my therapy. In my country there is a lot of ignorance about OSAS and CPAP. It's very easy to get a diagnosis but it's very hard to find good care for therapy!
Here I'm learning many things thanks to you. I hope in the future that I can help other novices as some members of this forum do with me.
In my country, the people who see my equipment, remain speechless. I believe that their thinking is that I'm very seriously ill, almost half dead...
It's for this reason that I have voted 1, 2 and 3.
Thank you

May you all feel good, that's what it's about.
No Flame, just opinion. Flame serves little use for anything but to defend someones mis-guided thinking.

Re: POLL: Why are you here?
For me, it's the first three. I am about eighteen months into my bipap journey and still learning. I think I finally have my optimum pressure figured out. I started out at 20 to 25 with pressure relief of 5. After losing close to 30 pounds, I am now running 15 with pressure relief of 0. I'm essentially using my bipap as a cpap machine. I'm willing to live with a few hypopneas and flow limits that may go as high as .50 a couple times a night. If I go to a higher pressure, I start getting CAs

Re: POLL: Why are you here?
My first thought was that it's my business, but then I looked again later and decided it's not a bad poll, especially now, so I voted (feeling left out of your voting today ).
