Ultra Mirage 3D fitting template

Post by cwsanfor » Fri Jul 21, 2006 2:53 am

Although I used the cpap.com fitting guide, nothing's perfect, and the UMFF medium standard seems a little small on my face. I see references to the Ultra Mirage 3D fitting template, but don't see where to get one. Are they only sold to DME's? Anyone know a source?

Thanks.

CW,

I don't know about a 3D fitting guide. Sorry. There is a fitting guide on the resmed site: http://www.myresmed.com/MyResMed/USV2/A ... _Guide.pdf

I was measured during my titration sleep study for a mask and they furnished me with a Ultra Mirage full face large size with shallow cushion. It leaked during the titration study and leaked when I finally got my machine. I went to cpap.com and used their measuring guide which said I should have a large size with standard cushion. My DME couldn't get the cushion so I ordered it from cpap.com and had to pay for it out of my pocket. The DME sent me a Fisher & Paykel full face mask which is absolutely useless. The UM FF works well and I thought the fitting guide on cpap.com was pretty accurate.

BTW, be careful with the forehead support. Mine broke in two months. The cushion clip also looks a bit flimsy.
