No doubt the doctor has access to this old, 2008 study, and can determine if it is relevant for this patient.

Notice that pregnant women are excluded from this Clinical Validation of New Commercial Sleep Monitoring Devices.

Women are often exclude from clinical trials, even women rats get excluded. It messes up their pristine data sets. Pregnant women are a liability to testing so they get doubly exclude.
