I don't know what you consider "better opportunities" but I urge caution. Are you talking about canceling your insurance altogether, or simply stopping the CPAP rental through your insurance (Kaiser?)?

If you are talking about the CPAP rental, return the unit to the DME (most likely Crapria) and be sure you get a receipt. Hopefully "better opportunities" in that case still involve treating your apnea somehow. Let your Kaiser sleep lab know that you have discontinued the machine from Kaiser in writing.

In terms of actually canceling your insurance altogether, unless you have recently lost your job because of shelter in place, moved, or changed jobs, you better know what the hell you are doing before canceling it. Unless these conditions apply, you will have to wait until fall for the next open enrollment period and your new insurance won't take effect until January of 2021.

This is no time to lose insurance coverage.

Beware of fake health insurance scams and "faith based medical plans". They are not real insurance and you will be SOL if you rely on them. https://www.insurancefraud.org/scam-ale ... health.htm

I was born in a hospital called Kaiser in California years ago, and i buy all my cpap equipment on craigslist, offerup, and sometimes ebay. For sleep analysis, I use the the software often referred to on this website.

What does what hospital you were born in have anything to do with this???
