Uars friendly doctor or sleep lab near baltimore md?

Post by Jarboejoe » Wed Sep 21, 2016 4:36 pm

I live near baltimore MD. I am looking for a doctor or sleep lab that can test or work with UARS. I can find nothing specific in the area online and I am just another patient to get out the door with my current sleep doctor.

Thanks

I've never seen one that advertises UARS.

Maybe you could call some accredited centers and ask? http://www.sleepeducation.org/find-a-facility

You might also attempt Dr. Christopher S King at Walter Reed Medical Army Center in DC. He was the lead investigator in a clinical trial to evaluate the use of ARES, a non-invasive device in the diagnosis of UARS. His phone as given in the clinical trial data was - at the time of the original trial description in 2007 - 202-782-5725. Given the study was listed so long ago, he may no longer be there or the study never got updated.

Walter Reed is in Bethesda, MD now, so it is extremely unlikely that number is correct at this time.
