Dehydration and Dryness

Post by joeljjk11 » Wed Sep 14, 2016 11:54 am

I have noticed that the higher the pressures I need with my ASV machine, the more dehydrated and 'dry' I feel. I find myself drinking an insane amount of water each day just to avoid this dehydration feeling and 'dryness.' Has anyone else experienced something similar?

It's normal, but are you not using a humidifier?

I can't speak to the higher pressures as my top pressure is 12.5 cm. but have you had your blood sugar checked recently?

No, it's not normal. Do you dry out when you breathe normally during the day without humidifier? I don't think so.

He must be breathing through his mouth a lot. If he can reduce or eliminate mouth breathing, he will be normal again.

I have the same machine and use Quattro Air ffm. Check your humidifier settings - I think mine are set to auto.

I'd be very surprised if it's even possible to lose enough water just by breathing to need to drink "an insane amount of water each day".
