My sleep lab said they only permit BiPap usage when there is
a spread of 6 points between the low and the high. So if your
low is 9, then your high must be 15. I have seen lots of
references on the list of BiPap at 9 and 13. Anyone clarify why
my lap is so adamant about a 6 point spread? Thanks.
P.S. Does ResMed Respond APAP support something similar to Respironics
CFLEX?
BiPap question
6 pts
You've got me on that one. They never told me there had to be a specific spread. Mine is 12/8, a difference of only 4. My lab worked hard they said at getting my correct settings. Why would a spread of 6 be necessary? Everyone is different. I use a bipap pro and pro 2.

I use BiPap, and have less than 6 point spread.
Your Doctor is the one who writes the script. Take it somewhere else. CPAP.COM would be my recomendation.

The bipap pro and the bipap pro 2 are both adjustable. If you were to get it and the setting was 6 pts apart and difficult for you, you can adjust it to whatever you want.
