CPAP Comfort Covers--reducing the noise
Hi! I recently purchased a pair of these reusable fabric mask covers. I cut the holes right so the air would get in and out. Once I fell asleep, it was some of the best sleep I'd had in ages.
However, the inside of my mask is very noisy with the cover on it. It's a very loud whooshing sound, and it'll be a problem if I can't make it quieter. I tried adjusting my mask and also adjusting the hose, but nothing seemed to help.
Has anyone tried this product and found a solution?

Re: CPAP Comfort Covers--reducing the noise
IF you're talking about liners, either Padacheek or Remzzzz, they're meant to be worn under the mask, not over it, to reduce red marks and help seal tiny leaks. I've never heard of 'comfort covers'.

A totally non-searchable website!
And guess what completely useless gadget in on the only page I see?
Yes, you guessed it!

I saw someone griping about those things, not staying put or something.
looks a lot more expensive and less well made than padacheek.

Re: CPAP Comfort Covers--reducing the noise
Well, I first saw them on Amazon, which is plenty searchable.
I tried Padacheek, and she remade it to adjust the size, but, still wasn't a good fit for me
But, the point is that I asked how to reduce the noise when using these. I did not ask if you thought this product was a good idea or hated nonsearchable websites or preferred other things. Please contribute if you can help answer, and use other threads for the other content.

Re: CPAP Comfort Covers--reducing the noise
Excessive noise is common when the mask does not fit, or is improperly adjusted.
Often a patient is told to tighten the headgear too much, causing creases in the silicone, which is very noisy.
Cpap masks are designed to ride like a hovercraft, riding lightly on a blanket of air.
Loosen before tightening, and avoid those creases.
Even the best liner is no use if the mask is the wrong size--a much too common occurrence.
