And do you have a heated or regular hose?
And what kind is that?

If you are using a heated hose...remove it and replace it with a regular hose.

You can turn ALL of the settings "OFF" and just use "passover" humidification. Air comes into machine and "passes over" the water and picks up some water vapor and adds it to the air coming into your mask. You can even cool it down more by keeping your distilled water in the refrigerator until you add it to your HH tank.
But, you first have to turn off all of the heat-related settings......HH and heated/climateline hose.
There is no "normal" temperature. It's variable for the user to decide what works best for them.
Here's a link to the clinical manual for your machine.

What is the ambient temperature of your bedroom?
You can try turning the temperature all the way down to as low as it will go. On my ResMed that's 60 degrees but if your bedroom temperature is on the warm side it won't help much because the hose starts with whatever the temperature is in the bedroom.

It would be nice if they had a air chiller unit built into the XPAP, cost noise both keep that from being a option. You must cool your room air to where you want it, I use a 12,000 btu window a/c, I keep the bedroom at 63 degrees, year around, no HH or Heated Hose for me, just keeping it cool! Jim

Wouldn't work for me. My sinuses want warm moist air, the rest of me wants cool air, that is not a problem from begin October to end of April. Actually it is only a problem July & August when it get incredibly hot, like 75F - 80F during the day.Goofproof wrote:It would be nice if they had a air chiller unit built into the XPAP, cost noise both keep that from being a option.
