Further detailed information may be found at:

https://www.respshop.com/manuals/ResMed ... %20her.pdf

If you scroll down to pages 17-19 you will find information on what is available from the sleep report. Please note: under the section "More Info" you will find a heading "Period," that will tell you the period of time measured under the heading "Used Hrs." This period may be 1 Day / 1 Week / 1 Month / 3 Months / 6 Months / 1 Year. Thus, if the period is defined as 1 Month, the number shown in "Used Hrs" will represent the total hours used in the past 30 days (or the last compliance reset). If set for an unusually short period (such as less than 1 month) you can reset the period using the clinical setup outlined earlier in the document. The portion I mentioned in my earlier post related to the setting for "Essentials" under Options in the Clinical Menu - the two setup options are: "On," or "Plus." Plus allows the user access to more information.

Don't be concerned over a few nominal hours, they may have been just for test purposes. It's only when they get into 3 figs that I'd want to know more.

If you download Sleepyhead software and import the data from your SD card, it will show you the dates and times of use. If any are before you got the machine, there's your proof.

no, new machines often have a slight perfumey smell, from the silicone inside.
