Question for S8 Users

Post by cpapjack » Tue Jul 18, 2006 2:49 pm

When I veiw the efficacy data on my S8 Vantage, the first result is for pressure. Is this the average pressure for the night or is the highest pressure used?

It is the 95% pressure, the pressure that the S8 operated at or below 95% of the time during the session.

Another S8 question

Post by SleeplessInVirginia » Tue Jul 18, 2006 10:35 pm

I have a straight cpap, the S8 Elite. Every morning when I check my efficacy data it says Pressure 9. The strange thing is, my cpap is set at 10! Any idea why the pressure would say 9 every day?

My S8 Elite was set at 10 and it read 9.2 every day. Now it is set at 11 and it reads 10.2 every day. I guess for whatever reason, that is the pressure it is operating at 95% of the time. I am not sure why it is done that way.
