I use 3 different masks regularly and two irregularly and while all of them work, none are perfect. I won't be trying any more NEW masks but just using up supplies for what I already have. My issues with some of my masks might be solveable with a Hose Buddy.
I use Swift FX, Airfit P10 and Dreamwear. I also have Circadian Sleepweaver mask with Zephyr seal and the Elan. I like the Circadian masks, but have a lot of problem with air blowing into my eyes. They are comfy though. I can only get the Circadian ones covered by Medicare if I get it from the Lincare office as the warehouse doesn't stock them however, the ones I do have I got from our sponsor during a sale.
The Swift FX, Airfit P10 and Dreamwear all slide up the back of my head while I sleep. Since I wake up anyway at night, I just pull it back down and go back to sleep. They all work well for side sleeping although the Dreamwear is a little touchy sometimes. I get the least leaks from the Airfit, but it also bruises my nose. I did try different pillow sizes on both the Swift and Airfit and I seem to be between sizes. I tried each pillow size more than a week before settling on one. The Dreamwear was fine right from the beginning however, it does tend to be leakier than the other two.
How many mask changes did you go through at first?
