Software for AirSense 10?

Post by SteveY » Wed Aug 17, 2016 5:50 pm

Hi all!

It's been quite a while since I've been on this site. I've been on CPAP therapy for six years, using an S9 unit (set continuous to 9cm/H20). My doctor never asked me for data, so I came here looking for help in determining performance. Someone on here set me up with the ResMed software that enabled me to gain more understanding of what I was doing at night.

Now, my primary care has changed, and I have a doctor that is keeping watch. It's great! One thing that did happen is that I've been "upgraded" to the Autosense 10, and it's been set to APAP mode, with a higher cm/H2O setting (I think it's 11). It's cool that it's a wireless data push to the ResMed Cloud, and my doctor can monitor performance. My issue is that I only get access to "compliance" results: hours of use, AHI, etc. As I'm dealing with more frequent aerophagia than I'd like, I'm wondering if ResMed has any software like I used with my S9 to get data from the card to see what my experiences are throughout the night.

Any thoughts/advice?

Thanks,

Steve

You can use SleepyHead or ResScan or both.
You can find information on how to obtain either or both here.

Airsense 10 or Airsense 10 Autoset? You said it's set on Auto but set at 11 cm/H2O and you only get compliance results.

Here's a link to download the clinical manual.

https://sleep.tnet.com/home/files/resme ... -guide.pdf

Once you get into the setup, you'll be able to see just what the settings are and whether it's an APAP.

Sorry.. it's on APAP, with a max of 11. Apologies for not being clear.

I'll look into the app downloads.

It's the low setting that counts with Apaps, not the high (of 11), and many leave the high a lot higher... what's your low setting?

Steve, here is an example of using the ResScan software but not on Airsense:

I used these instructions to post the charts on this website:

Note that SleepHead is ten times better than the Resmed software because it is interactive. You can pan and zoom around in the data and examine anything you want in as much detail as you want. The Resmed software is designed for producing written reports. If you have SleepHead, there is no need for the Resmed software. Resscan software is not sold to the public - any copies available are pirated copies. SleepyHead is completely free software.
