Is this person serious? Or just a sick troll who hopes to cause distress?

Really, anyone who makes a comparison to the Holocaust is a sick troll? Why is that comment so threatening to you?

My guess is that Trump doesn't want to drop out ....

I also think that Clinton still doesn't want to lose ...
Clinton to join recount that Trump calls 'scam'

Awkward ....

Glad I didn't vote in this silly circus ....
However, I'm beginning to think that we will go into a constitutional crisis before January 20th.

Anyway ... we can always find a garden if all else fails.
President-pretender, J. Biden, said "the DNC has built the largest voter fraud organization in US history". Too bad they didn’t build the smartest voter fraud organization and got caught.

Lucy, mind quoting the law that says it is illegal? I don't believe it is. Kind of like the nominee showing his taxes, many have done it, but it is not a law and in spite of the fact the media were pulling their collective hair out; Trump just didn't play.

Law, what law, Obama and Hillery, have never had to worry about the Law, for them there is no law, laws are for others.... Jim

Maybe there isn't one. It is, however, a major conflict of interest along with the other business dealings he has and will continue to have with Japan, China, Russia, etc., which will only benefit him and not one person who voted for him. As far as not showing his taxes, do you admire him for that? He got away with it. Period. Let's talk again a year from now. It's going to get interesting.

According to this NY Times article, Flightco, it looks likes you are mostly right:

http://www.nytimes.com/2016/11/26/us/po ... iness.html

""Federal law does not prevent Mr. Trump from taking actions that could benefit him and his family financially; the president is exempt from most conflict-of-interest laws. But the Constitution, through what is called the emoluments clause, appears to prohibit him from taking payments or gifts from a foreign government entity, a standard that some legal experts say he may violate by renting space in Trump Tower in New York to the Bank of China or if he hosts foreign diplomats in one of his hotels.""

However, just because it may not be illegal, doesn't the mean the implications of having conflicts of interests wouldn't be huge as the article points out.

""Several of Mr. Trump’s real estate ventures in India — where he has more projects underway than in any location outside North America — are being built through companies with family ties to India’s most important political party. This makes it more likely that Indian government officials will do special favors benefiting Mr. Trump’s projects, including pressuring state-owned banks to extend favorable loans.""

And Flightco, even if what Trump is doing isn't illegal, if roles were reversed and it was Hillary who had all these conflicts of interest and had refused to pay her taxes, would you be ok with that? I seriously doubt it.

PS - After I posted my initial message, I found this article in the guardian that talks about a constitutional crisis if he doesn't resolve the conflict of interest issues. It talks about how his Presidency could be in jeopardy as a result.

I definitely agree but was curious to see if he would respond about why he found Lucy's remark so threatening. His lack of response also says everything.

I didn't know you read the Guardian , been doing it a long time and because it comes out 4-5 hrs ahead of us we can get to see world news early. They're having lots of trouble over there now too, with Brexit, etc.

In all honestly, I haven't read the Guardian as much as I should but I am going to try my best to change that. However, I have definitely been aware of it for quite awhile and think they do great work.

Trump is not planning genocide, and he never will. It shouldn’t need to be said that the Holocaust was the determined effort by one of the world’s leading industrialized powers to murder all the world’s Jews in the course of a nearly successful effort to conquer the globe. Those Jews weren’t just unhappy because a loud-mouth Republican won an election. They were being hunted down and exterminated.

As the son of parents who survived the Holocaust, I find it highly offensive that you compare Trump to Hitler. Please stop.
