Target has them on sale in my area. Maybe they are on sale where you live, too.

I recently bought two memory foam pillows - one from Target and one from Walgreens (ya, I hit the big city - lol). They were the same price of $19.99

To me, the one from Walgreens was softer and appeared to be better quality. The one from Target was firmer and had a chemical odor to it - which did not dissipate during the two days I had it before returning it.

But I ended up going back to my old super soft foam pillow - one I scooped out some of the foam out of the middle so I had a bit of a neck support.

But for someone who needs to sleep on the edge of their pillow to allow the mask to hang over the edge, either the Target or Walgreens would work.

Personally, I find the memory foam pillows to retain too much body heat for me. But Target does carry another pillow called the "Shapable" pillow. Great for any sleep position!
(And, yes, I read about this pillow here from another pap'er! )

Life should NOT be a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a well preserved body, but rather to skid in sideways, chocolate in one hand, martini in the other, body totally worn out and screaming,WOO HOO what a ride!

I had thought so too, when I first bought mine a couple years ago. I also thought they were way too firm. Now, when I'm at a hotel I yearn for my memory foam pillows! Too cut down on the excessive heat I felt from them, I bought two allergenic pillow covers for each pillow and I use satin pillow cases and its nice and cool year round.
